Lauren P. Richmond, graduated with honors from La Salle University in 2001 and received her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2005. Ms. Richmond clerked for the Honorable John T. J. Kelly of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Upon admission to the Pennsylvania bar, she started her practice in the corporate realm, as a corporate attorney with a boutique private firm. Later, she accepted a position as in-house counsel for a large technology corporation. By 2010 she returned to private practice, leveraging her extensive background in mediation and negotiation to successfully represent clients in a range of legal matters.
For instance, Ms. Richmond has counseled individuals in complex domestic matters, including matters related to pre- and ante-nuptial agreements, support, custody and divorce. She has represented individuals in litigation related to domestic, business, and personal disputes. She further has represented small businesses to Fortune 500 businesses in developing standard and custom contract forms for use in employment, licensing, software, consulting, web, and e-commerce. She has even negotiated transactions in excess of $50 Million Dollars for businesses in the areas of licensing, joint ventures, and start-ups.
In 2011, Ms. Richmond joined Klineburger & Nussey, in their Philadelphia Office. Ms. Richmond focuses on divorce and family law matters, as well as provides general practice services ranging from litigation, business formation, intellectual property, and contracts.
Ms. Richmond volunteers as a counselor for the Women's Law Project, and currently volunteers in a professional capacity with local youth homeless shelter Covenant House Pennsylvania. In her personal time, Ms. Richmond pursues photography and maintains a professional photography business in Philadelphia.
